10th anniversary year for Una Voce
UNA VOCE was founded on the 26th September 1996 by the McAulay
family to "bring Opera to all and all to Opera at affordable
prices and in accessible venues". This is the mission
statment of Una Voce Opera Company based in Liverpool.
The company has achieved a tremendous amout in the short time
together. They have over 200 singers who live in various areas
of Britain and abroad on call, have 150 patrons and friends
and a mailing list in excess of 3,000 enthusiasts of all ages.
They have perfomed some of the best and
well known pieces from the world of Opera: Menotti's Amahl & the
Night Visitors, Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, Mozart's Magic
Flute, Offenbach's
La Belle Hélène, Donizetti's Emillia
di Liverpool and, funding
permitting, are hoping to stage Donizetti's The
Daughter of the Regiment in the near future.

A tireless and dedicated worker within the company, she constantly
battles on to heighten the public's awareness of her beloved
Opera.
Una Voce rehearses on most Wednesday evenings in the Music
